This is a safety feature designed to monitor and protect the safety of your online domain. When active, it prevents any unauthorised, unwanted or accidental changes to the domain registration. It makes it impossible to transfer the domain to another registrar, change ownership, delete it, change associated ‘NameServers’ or update any associated contact details, without express authorisation and deactivation of the ‘lock’.
